"Spider veins" are small networks of veins that extend in a branch-like pattern throughout the surface of the skin. When the blood in these veins becomes backed up, they become more visible, resulting in the red, blue and purple vein patterns that often appear on the legs. Spider veins are most common in people over 50 and in pregnant women. However, genetics and sun exposure also play a role in the development of spider veins. Previously, the only treatment for this problem was sclerotherapy, which involved the injection of a solution into the veins. Although this treatment was effective in causing the veins to collapse, it required an extended time for recovery. True Beauty Med Spa of Tucson uses the most advanced cosmetic lasers to offer its clients the latest in spider vein removal treatment. Are you one of the millions of people affected by spider veins?
